Nairobi · Kenya

The plains do not need embellishing.

Safari and accommodation booked as one thing, arranged end to end from Nairobi. Three considered routes, honest pricing, and one person you can reach on WhatsApp from your first question to your last morning.

01 — Who we are

We are a small Nairobi outfit. We do not run twelve departures a week, and we do not hand you to a call centre once you have paid.

Every journey on this page is a starting point, not a fixed product. You tell us roughly when you want to travel and what you care about seeing; we write the days around that, name the lodges, and put the whole cost in front of you before anything is booked.

Accommodation is bundled into every tier. Park fees, transfers, the vehicle, the guide — all of it sits inside one number, so you are not assembling a trip from six invoices while you are trying to enjoy it.

02 — Three journeys

Same care,
three budgets.

Prices are per person and assume two people sharing a room. They are starting points — the final figure depends on your dates, your group and what the lodges are charging that season.

Travelling as a family, solo, or want to mix elements of two tiers? That is the normal case rather than the exception — say what you have in mind and we will re-quote it.

03 — Where you stay

The beds are
half the trip.

Accommodation is not an add-on we quote separately. Every journey is booked as one package — the safari and the roof over your head, on one plan, at one price.

We work with lodges and tented camps we have stayed in ourselves. As you move up the tiers you are not buying more days so much as better rooms, quieter camps and shorter drives between them.

With Twiga

Comfortable lodges

  • En-suite rooms, hot water, reliable power
  • Most have a pool and a proper restaurant
  • Inside or on the edge of the park

  • Canvas under thatch — beds, not bedrolls
  • Private veranda facing the plain

With Simba

  • Conservancy camps away from the main circuit
  • Night drives and walking where permitted
  • Full board, and someone who knows your name

Either side of the safari

01

Nairobi, before and after

Long-haul flights rarely line up with game drives. We book the city nights either side so you are not landing at dawn and driving straight to a park.

02

The coast, if you want it

Most people who come this far add a few days on the Indian Ocean afterwards. Diani or Watamu, flown from Nairobi, added to the same booking.

03

Stays on their own

If you only need the beds — a lodge, a camp, a city hotel — we will arrange that too. Message us and say what you are looking for.

04 — What's included

Already
handled.

The point of a package is that you stop making decisions. All of this sits inside every tier as standard.

  • 01 Accommodation, every night of the journey
  • 02 All national park and conservancy entry fees
  • 03 An English-speaking driver-guide
  • 04 Airport pickup and drop-off in Nairobi
  • 05 4×4 safari vehicle, fuel and park transfers
  • 06 Meals as listed, and water in the vehicle
  • 07 A reachable person on WhatsApp, start to finish

Not included

International flights, Kenyan electronic travel authorisation, travel insurance, tips, and anything personal you buy along the way. We will tell you what each of those is likely to cost before you commit to anything.

05 — How it works

Three steps. The first takes a minute.

01

Message us

Roughly when you would like to travel, how many of you there are, and which journey caught your eye. Nothing binding, no forms.

02

We write the plan

A day-by-day itinerary with the parks, the named lodges and the full cost. Change anything you like before you commit.

03

You travel

Pickup, guide, park fees and lodges all arranged in advance. We stay reachable on WhatsApp for the whole trip.

06 — Questions

Asked first,
most often.

When is the best time to come? +

June to October is dry season and the classic choice — easier spotting, and the river crossings in the Mara. January and February are hot, green and quieter. April and May are the long rains: fewer people and lower prices, but muddier roads. Tell us your dates and we will be straight with you about the trade-off.

Is it suitable for children? +

Yes, and families are very welcome. Some camps set minimum ages and long drive days are hard on small children, so we adjust the route and the lodges rather than pretending one plan fits every age. Mention the ages when you first message us.

How and when do I pay? +

Nothing is paid through this website. Once you are happy with the written itinerary we agree a deposit to hold the lodges, with the balance closer to travel. Payment details come directly from us, in writing, with an invoice from the registered business.

What do I need to enter Kenya? +

A passport valid at least six months beyond your arrival, and an electronic travel authorisation applied for online before you fly. Requirements change, so check your own government's current advice — we will point you at the official pages, but the application is yours to make.

Can a journey be changed? +

Almost every trip we run is a modified version of one of the three. Add days, swap a park, upgrade one lodge and leave the rest — tell us what you want and we will re-quote it.

We will do the rest.

One message is enough to begin. No account, no form, no obligation — and you will hear back from a person, usually the same day.
